36 Hours in London

London is one of the most popular cities and is also the capital of the United Kingdom. It’s a travel destination for people all over the world and is a city that has meshing cultures.
If you only have 36 hours in London these are [my] main places to hit.
Here’s how to spend your time wisely in London!

Day One
We arrived in London around noon so our first stop was right next our Airbnb in Neal’s Yard.

New Orleans Food

The New Orleans food scene is incredible. It’s one of the things NOLA is known for.
If you find yourself in New Orleans, here are [my] main places you can’t miss for food.
Beignets and CoffeeCafe Du Monde is the place that everyone goes when they arrive and for good reason. Don’t be scared off by the long lines because they move very fast and you’ll be enjoying this fried goodness before you know it. You order them in three’s so be prepared.

Austin “Must-Do’s”

Austin, Texas is an incredibly vibrant city with a ton to do. You definitely don’t want to miss some of the main spots, but will undoubtedly have to visit again.

Eats
Torchy’s Tacos
Torchy’s Tacos has multiple locations and so many taco choices. I tried the fried avocado taco and a fish taco, both were great. This is the place that multiple people mentioned and recommended going to before I arrived so it’s a must do.

My Top 4 Tacos in Austin, Texas

So I know tacos are literally everywhere in Texas, but I have narrowed my list for Austin tacos down to four [pescatarian friendly] favorites.

Shrimp tacos are probably my favorite type of tacos so I’m kind of tough on them and these passed the test. The sauteed kale on top was actually perfect and added a great flavor and texture. Not only does Fresa’s have great tacos and drinks, but they also have some pretty great and unique sides.

My Favorite Disney World Hacks

After being a cast member [employee] at Disney World and going there at least once every year with my family since I was a kid, I’ve found a few tricks that we always abide by. So I’ve made a list of my favorite Disney hacks to share so we can all make the most of our time and money while still feeling all the magic.
My favorite hack [because you always need water, especially in Florida] is about staying hydrated for free.

5 Eats You Can’t Miss at Disney World

In my opinion, everything tastes good at Disney World, but there are a few treats that you definitely shouldn’t skip. Sometimes I even have all of them in one day…

Mickey Ice Cream
This is a must eat treat mostly because it’s delicious, but also because it’s shaped like Mickey’s head and is adorable. Vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate is always a great treat in my book.

The Ultimate 3-day Denver Guide

Exploring is always fun, but there’s always something new and different to try when you go back somewhere as an older and [hopefully] wiser person. I definitely saw a different side of Denver during this trip than I did when I used to visit my grandparents as a kid.

Eats!
The first thing we did after dropping off our bags was head to Snooze. After people repeatedly recommended this place, I decided it was worth a shot and I’m so glad I did. It was so delicious.

Favorite Brunch Spots in Atlanta

Why should you try all of the breakfast/brunch places in Atlanta to find a great one when I already have? Here are some of my favorites [in no particular order]!

Treehouse
I love this spot. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere is also so fun. The patio is a great place to eat especially on a nice day. I got huevos rancheros last time I ate here and it was seriously incredible.

Being a Non-Tourist in Chicago

Third time’s the charm because this was the longest I’ve stayed in Chi-town and the most I’ve done and seen while there.

Eats!
The first restaurant I enjoyed during this trip was The Southport Grocery and Cafe. Oh my yum. This is a small cafe and grocer and had incredibly delicious brunch. My friend and I split their bread pudding pancake [must try] and I had a summer squash and kale omelette with mashed potatoes. Seriously such a great meal with so many flavors.

Learning to Code in Paradise

I just got back from an amazing 10-day coding retreat in Sayulita, Mexico with The Institute of Code. Institute of Code hosts all-inclusive retreats with the aim to teach students how to code and they definitely succeed in doing so.
There is a method to IOC’s madness because they take care of everything so you can focus on learning. When I say everything, I mean it. We had three meals a day plus lots of snacks and everything was so yummy and healthy.
