The Ultimate 3-day Denver Guide

Exploring is always fun, but there’s always something new and different to try when you go back somewhere as an older and [hopefully] wiser person. I definitely saw a different side of Denver during this trip than I did when I used to visit my grandparents as a kid.

The first thing we did after dropping off our bags was head to Snooze. After people repeatedly recommended this place, I decided it was worth a shot and I’m so glad I did. It was so delicious.

Favorite Brunch Spots in Atlanta

Why should you try all of the breakfast/brunch places in Atlanta to find a great one when I already have? Here are some of my favorites [in no particular order]!

Treehouse
I love this spot. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere is also so fun. The patio is a great place to eat especially on a nice day. I got huevos rancheros last time I ate here and it was seriously incredible.

Being a Non-Tourist in Chicago

Third time’s the charm because this was the longest I’ve stayed in Chi-town and the most I’ve done and seen while there.

Eats!
The first restaurant I enjoyed during this trip was The Southport Grocery and Cafe. Oh my yum. This is a small cafe and grocer and had incredibly delicious brunch. My friend and I split their bread pudding pancake [must try] and I had a summer squash and kale omelette with mashed potatoes. Seriously such a great meal with so many flavors.

Learning to Code in Paradise

I just got back from an amazing 10-day coding retreat in Sayulita, Mexico with The Institute of Code. Institute of Code hosts all-inclusive retreats with the aim to teach students how to code and they definitely succeed in doing so.
There is a method to IOC’s madness because they take care of everything so you can focus on learning. When I say everything, I mean it. We had three meals a day plus lots of snacks and everything was so yummy and healthy.

64 Hours in Dallas, Texas

Meeting my mom in Dallas at the tail end of her work conference definitely had its perks. I was able to be her guest at her last work event before getting our weekend started. We went into AT&T Stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play and were able to eat, drink, and even play on the field a bit.

Eats Europe Greece Travels

Paros, Greece

Where do I start? This island is insanely beautiful and so different from Athens.
We took a ferry to the island and it was definitely the largest ferry I’ve ever been on. The ride was about four hours so we shifted from napping, eating, and talking to pass the time. Once we arrived on Paros we took our bus to the Hippocampus Hotel, which was right across from the sea and had a stunning view.

Eats Europe Ireland Travels

Irish Musings

Over the past few years I have been lucky enough to travel and explore Ireland three times. The first two times I visited while nannying and the third time my mom and I went on an incredible culinary tour. One of my favorite parts about being in Ireland is being around so much greenery and so many kind people.

EPCOT: Food and Wine Festival

Being able to drink around the world is one thing, but being able to drink and eat around the world in one day is something entirely different.
My mom and I decided to take a trip together, but wanted to go somewhere close and fun so we decided to go back to Disney World for the millionth time. Being in EPCOT during the Food and Wine Festival was completely different from going on a normal day, but in a good way. Once you get over the crowds and lines the day ends up being an adventure.
