If you’re an Avatar or Disney fan then you should definitely go to Pandora: World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Pandora is the newest attraction at Animal Kingdom and definitely brings a new level of excitement to the park.
My brother and I took a last minute 2.5-day trip from Atlanta to Orlando with the main goal of seeing Pandora because we’re both huge nerds and also absolutely love going to Disney World. So here are my top 5 must do’s at Pandora [in no specific order].

Ride Flight of the Passage.
This is [apparently] the best ride in Pandora! Unfortunately, my brother and I didn’t want to wait 3+ hours to do it so we’ll try again next time. If you’re going while it’s still new and very popular I would get to the park at opening or even a little before and go straight there. We got to the ride about 15 minutes after park opening and it was already a three hour wait, but many people said it’s worth the wait so bring a snack and wait it out!

Have a Night Blossom slushie from Pongu Pongu.
This slushie is a mixture of limeade with apple and desert pear flavors topped with passion fruit boba balls. It’s sweet and makes the perfect treat when it’s hot out. Pro tip: if you want a picture of the swirl take it fast because once it starts melting the swirl disappears. You can also get this slushie in a souvenir mug with a glowing “seed.”

Go after sunset.
Once the sun goes down the floating rocks, ground and landscape starts to glow. It truly feels like you’re somewhere else and is so fun to walk around and see everything in a totally different light [no pun intended].
-
Eat a pod from Satu’li Canteen.
All of the food here is designed to look a little out of this world and be a little healthier than most park options. With that being said, I tried the vegetable steamed curry pods – bao buns. They were pretty good and you can also get them with a cheeseburger filling. The blue blob in the background is actually cheesecake and is as pretty on the inside as the outside.

Ride Na’vi River Journey.
This ride takes you on a journey through a bioluminescent rain forest that is enchanting and definitely magical. You see creatures, plants and even some natives all while listening to local songs. It’s a very peaceful and unique ride.
